- Please be prepared to provide the Classification/Job Title and opportunity type (transfer, emergency appointment, paygrade advancement, exempt) as stated in the employment notice;
- Provide an email address that you can access at all times [Note: This is especially important as LAFPP is unable to accommodate a request for extension to any deadline due to candidates who are not checking their work email addresses while off work]; and
- Please upload all documentation requested in the employment notice. This documentation generally includes a completed City or Departmental Application, current resume, and two (2) most recent performance evaluations if available.
