  • The Initial Contractor Disclosure Form is intended for Contractors seeking Board consideration and approval for a new contract or investment or additional investment. Contractors are required to disclose reportable items that occurred during the twenty-four (24) month period prior to Board consideration.

    The Contractor Disclosure Policy requires disclosures from Contractors and its Officers, marketing representatives, relationship representatives, portfolio managers, members of the investment committee, Intermediaries (placement agents), involved in the product or service provided or sought to be provided to LAFPP, and Family Members (spouse or domestic partners) of the individuals referenced above.

    For the Initial Contractor Disclosure form, Contractors are required to disclose reportable items that occurred during the prior twenty-four (24) month period. For example, a form that is submitted for June 30, 2025 would require disclosure of reportable items occurring in the period of July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025.   • Contractors shall disclose all campaign contributions (monetary contributions and/or other financial benefits made directly or indirectly) to an Elected Official and any of their controlled committees, a Candidate and any of their controlled committees, an Appointed Official, or an Applicable City Employee. A List of Elected and Appointed Officials, Candidates, and Applicable City Employees is linked in the instructions of this form or at lafpp.lacity.gov.

    Exemption: Monetary contributions and/or financial benefits given by any person to an Elected Official or Candidate for whom such person was entitled to vote at the time of the contributions and which in the aggregate do not exceed $100 to any one Elected Official or Candidate per election are not required to be reported.

  • Gifts

  • Contractors shall disclose all Gifts made directly or indirectly to any Elected or Appointed Official, Candidate or Applicable City Employee, or to decision makers with LAFPP’s private equity consultants, private credit consultants, general investment consultants, or real estate and infrastructure consultants. A List of Elected and Appointed Officials, Candidates, and Applicable City Employees is linked in the instructions of this form or at lafpp.lacity.gov.

    A Gift is generally any payment that confers a personal benefit on the recipient to the extent that consideration of equal or greater value is not received (e.g. meals, entertainment and tangible items) that are greater than $50. 

    A full definition of Gifts and examples of exclusions can be found in the Definitions section of the Contractor Disclosure Policy or Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 49.5.8 et seq. 

    Reporting Threshold: Gifts are only required to be reported if, for the calendar year, the total value of Gifts made to a single recipient is $50 or more.

  • LAFPP investment consultants (Future Standard, Stepstone, RVK, and Townsend) shall disclose Gifts, as defined under this Policy, received from LAFPP Contractors, any of its Officers, any marketing representatives, relationship representatives, portfolio managers, members of their investment committee, or Intermediaries that are involved with the product or service provided, or sought to be provided, to LAFPP, and any Family Members of any of the previously listed individuals.

    1. The three months prior to the interview regarding a new agreement or investment, or
    2. The search period for a new agreement or investment. 

    Contacts with Applicable City Employees do not need to be disclosed under this Policy.

  • Contractors shall disclose all Intermediaries retained in connection with any investment or procurement. Intermediaries are any person or entity that meets both criteria: 

    (1) is hired, engaged or retained by or acting on behalf of a Contractor as a placement agent, finder, lobbyist, solicitor, marketer, consultant, broker or other type of agent to raise money or investments from or obtain access to LAFPP, directly or indirectly, and

    (2) engages in, either personally or through an agent, any written or oral direct communication with any LAFPP representative in furtherance of obtaining an investment or a contract with LAFPP.

  • The Periodic Contractor Disclosure Form is intended for existing LAFPP Contractors who are required to complete a form on a quarterly or fiscal year basis. Disclosures are due 21 business days after the end of the quarter or the fiscal year. 

    The Contractor Disclosure Policy requires disclosures from Contractors and its Officers, marketing representatives, relationship representatives, portfolio managers, members of the investment committee, Intermediaries (placement agents), involved in the product or service provided or sought to be provided to LAFPP, and Family Members (spouse or domestic partners) of the individuals referenced above.
